Current versionv1.10.0

  1. v1.10.0Minor releaseLatest

Faster research answers, recent choices, and a window that tells you what is new

Research answers arrive faster and stay inside the folders you chose all the way down a long list, your recent choices are one tap away, and after an update a short window tells you what changed.

    Highlights of version 1.10.0

    • Document research writes its answers in about a minute instead of several
    • Your recent folder choices are one tap away when you choose where to search
    • After an update, a short window tells you what is new, once

    Added of version 1.10.0

    • A short window tells you what is new the first time you open the app after an update; it can be opened again from the help menu
    • Your recent folder choices are offered when you choose where document research should look; one tap fills your selection and nothing changes until you confirm
    • Each release in the changelog opens with its highlights, so the page can be read in a few seconds

    Changed of version 1.10.0

    • Document research writes its answers in about a minute instead of several, and writes them in full more often than before

    Fixed of version 1.10.0

    • Loading the rest of a long list of documents found by a limited search no longer brings in documents from outside the folders you chose
    • A document kept in two folders is shown at its copy inside the folders you chose, not at the one you left out
    • The « +N » counters beside folder names read correctly in Arabic
  2. v1.9.0Minor release

Search inside the folders you choose, and a clearer mission form

Document research can now be limited to chosen folders for more precise answers, mission details are split into general and confidential information, and notifications arrive in your own language.

    Highlights of version 1.9.0

    • Limit document research to the folders you choose, for answers from fewer and more relevant documents
    • Mission details are split into general information and confidential information
    • Notifications arrive in your own language, on screen, by push and by e-mail

    Added of version 1.9.0

    • Document research can be limited to the folders you choose, from a button beside the question box, so an answer comes from fewer and more relevant documents
    • The chosen folders are remembered for your next visit, kept with each question, and shown on the answer, in the history and while a question is running
    • When nothing in the chosen folders can be searched yet, the answer says why and offers to search the whole corpus instead
    • A follow-up question keeps searching where the conversation has been searching, and re-running a question asks it in the same place
    • Mission details are split into general information, which colleagues read, and confidential information, which only the people involved see
    • Twenty-five specialized commercial tribunals in the court directory, with the wilayas each one covers; choosing a court also offers the tribunal that covers your wilaya
    • A preview on the mission page of how a mission would be sent to ManagCase, the case-management program; it is a demonstration and sends nothing
    • Notifications about missions, applications and payments are written in your own language, on screen, by push and by e-mail

    Changed of version 1.9.0

    • Choosing the language from the top bar is now saved to your profile, so push messages and e-mails follow it
    • Judicial missions are grouped as delegating, collaborating or subcontracting, and the open-ended generic types are retired
    • The platform no longer suggests a fee for a mission type; the amount is yours to set
    • Several section names in Arabic now follow the wording chosen in the lawyers' own review

    Fixed of version 1.9.0

    • Publishing a mission no longer fails with a message about two missions being published at the same time
    • Applying to a mission that states no fee no longer fills in a fee of zero for you
    • On a phone, every mission tab can be reached, long names no longer push the page sideways, and the chat and the search fit the screen
    • A billing problem with the AI service is now reported as the service being unavailable, instead of as a broken form
    • Western Sahara is drawn as a country of its own, with its own name, on every map
    • Document research no longer fails when a matching document is very long, and the check of an answer against its sources no longer comes back empty
    • A scanned document with a photograph on its first page no longer holds up the reading of the pages that follow
    • Editing one detail of a court in the administration no longer erases its Arabic name, phone number or e-mail

    Security of version 1.9.0

    • A mission's reference number is always assigned by the platform and cannot be chosen by the person publishing it
    • Only the people involved in a mission can raise a notification about it, and its wording is written by the platform
    • The list of folders offered for document research never shows folders kept out of the corpus, nor how well the archive has been read
  3. v1.8.0Minor release

A shorter mission form, fees you can revisit, and court names in Arabic

Choosing the court and describing the case now happen on one page, a refused fee can be reconsidered instead of ending the conversation, and courts are named in Arabic.

    Highlights of version 1.8.0

    • Reconsider a refused fee, with up to three answers, instead of ending the conversation
    • Choose the court and describe the case on one page
    • Courts are named in Arabic, and found by their Arabic or their French name

    Added of version 1.8.0

    • When a fee is not right, you can ask the candidate to reconsider it without rejecting them; they can answer with a new amount up to three times and keep their place in the queue
    • Both sides are told in their own language when a fee is declined or revised, and every amount proposed is kept on the application
    • The section or chamber of a case is chosen from the list of the court you selected instead of being typed
    • The official Arabic name of 328 courts, shown in lists, the court directory, the calendar and the map
    • Searching for a court finds it by its Arabic or its French name, in any word order
    • A handle on the edge of the side menu collapses it, and Ctrl or Cmd with B does the same from the keyboard

    Changed of version 1.8.0

    • The court and the case details are now one step, so the mission form has seven steps for every type of intervention
    • The form says Jurisdiction instead of Court, since the bench may be a court of appeal, the Council of State or an administrative court
    • The research mission type is no longer offered: research is one of the choices of a professional mission
    • Several Arabic labels are corrected, among them the word for standing in at a hearing, document collection and the lawyer's clerk
    • The required fields of the court step are marked with an asterisk

    Fixed of version 1.8.0

    • Fee ranges in Arabic were shown with the amounts in the wrong order
    • A candidate who was not selected was told they had already applied, with no sign that the application had been declined
    • The step bar of the mission form skipped numbers for missions without a court
    • Mission types that are retired or not yet open could still be published through a direct request

    Security of version 1.8.0

    • A candidate's proposed fee can only be changed through the revision process, so the limit on revisions and the history of amounts always hold
  4. v1.7.0Minor release

Availability that is respected, clearer report reviews, and a changelog

Proposing a mission to a colleague now follows what they announced, reviewing a report lets you say exactly what you need, and sent messages can be corrected.

    Added of version 1.7.0

    • A public changelog with a version number for every release
    • Inviting a colleague from their availability now follows what they announced: their area and court, their dates, the kinds of work they offered and how they attend
    • A mission that falls outside a colleague's announced availability is refused with the reason, or can be proposed to them without being tied to it
    • Asking for a modification of a report now takes a message and what you expect (changes, information, missing documents), and the colleague is notified and sees it on their report
    • The attachments that came with a report are listed under it with a count, and the review step says how many there are
    • You can correct a message you sent within an hour, and the other person sees that it was edited

    Changed of version 1.7.0

    • Reports for missions without a hearing no longer ask for a hearing outcome, and use wording that fits the work
    • The dashboard activity list puts overdue work and reports waiting for your review first, and moves expired or finished missions to the end
    • A mission offered to specific lawyers must now name at least one of them

    Fixed of version 1.7.0

    • A message could be posted twice when Retry was pressed after the connection dropped
    • A report waiting for review was listed as expired once the hearing date had passed
    • The colleague a mission was proposed to was not always told, while unrelated lawyers could be

    Security of version 1.7.0

    • The titles of missions proposed to a single colleague are no longer sent to lawyers who cannot open them
    • The text of a sent message can no longer be changed silently: corrections are visible, and the original is kept for moderation review
  5. v1.6.0Minor release

Password reset that works, and legal documents in three languages

    Added of version 1.6.0

    • The terms of use and the privacy policy in Arabic, French and English, with the Arabic as the reference text
    • Registration records which version of the terms and privacy policy you accepted

    Changed of version 1.6.0

    • A password reset link now expires after one hour

    Fixed of version 1.6.0

    • The link in the password reset email led to a page that did not exist
    • A password reset link could be used up by an email security scanner before you opened it; it is now only used up when your new password is saved

    Security of version 1.6.0

    • Resetting a password signs you out of every other device and sends you a security alert
  6. v1.5.0Minor release

A clearer path for new law firms to be verified

    Added of version 1.5.0

    • A new firm shows « Pending verification » to its owner until the platform has checked it
    • The team that verifies firms is alerted when a firm is founded, and reminded about any that have been waiting more than a day

    Fixed of version 1.5.0

    • A newly founded firm did not appear in the list of firms waiting to be verified
    • Signed-in lawyers were still invited to sign up on public pages
  7. v1.4.0Minor release

The ranking is anonymous until you decide otherwise

Levels, badges and streaks remain private by default. Only the ranking changes: everyone now takes part in it without a name or a photo.

    Added of version 1.4.0

    • A panel on the Standing page shows how your row looks to other members, and lets you stay anonymous, appear under your name or hide, with an undo

    Changed of version 1.4.0

    • Every member now appears in the leaderboard anonymously — no name, no photo and no link to a profile — unless they choose to hide or to appear under their name
  8. v1.3.0Minor release

    Law firms

Lawyers who work together can now do so on the platform, without giving up control of their own missions.

    Added of version 1.3.0

    • Law firm workspaces: found a firm, invite colleagues by email and give them a role of owner, administrator or member
    • A shared view of the missions published by a firm's members, with figures, an activity log and a public page once the firm is verified
    • Invitations with a personal link that works for 14 days and can be renewed or withdrawn
    • Missions published while you belong to a firm are attributed to it automatically

    Changed of version 1.3.0

    • Running a firm is now a role inside the firm rather than a type of account
  9. v1.2.0Minor release

A complete file for each account, and a fix for dark mode

    Added of version 1.2.0

    • Administrators with the right permission can open a person's full file: profile, activity, wallet, security and private staff notes
    • Sensitive documents in that file are opened only on request, and every access is recorded
    • Administrators can sign a person out of one or all of their devices, and send them a password reset or a verification link

    Fixed of version 1.2.0

    • Page titles and warnings were unreadable for visitors whose device was set to dark mode
  10. v1.1.0Minor release

    Roles and permissions for administrators

Administration is no longer all or nothing: each person receives exactly the permissions their work requires.

    Added of version 1.1.0

    • Roles made of permissions, which administrators can create and give to people, optionally until an end date
    • A history of every change to roles, permissions and accounts
    • Account suspension, which signs the person out of every device immediately

    Changed of version 1.1.0

    • Access to tools such as document research is now managed through roles, from one place that shows who can use what
    • The last super-administrator can no longer be removed or suspended
  11. v1.0.0Initial release

    INABA-DZ goes live

The first production release of the platform where Algerian lawyers delegate missions to one another.

    Added of version 1.0.0

    • Delegation missions for court hearings, filings, document retrieval and non-judicial work such as consultations and research, published through a guided form
    • Applications and selection, with a conflict-of-interest declaration before a colleague sees the case details
    • A complete mission lifecycle: acceptance, progress, a written report with attachments, mutual ratings, and automatic expiry of missions that can no longer be taken
    • Availability offers, so a colleague can announce where and when they can stand in
    • Mission chat and direct messages, with replies, reactions, withdrawal of sent messages and protection against threats and abuse
    • Notifications in the app, by push and by email, with per-category preferences and an optional daily or weekly digest
    • A hearings calendar by court and wilaya, with reminders, postponements and calendar export
    • Court rolls published from reviewed uploads, and the possibility for any lawyer to send one in and be rewarded
    • Document summarising and anonymising, running in the background so a long document can be left and collected later
    • Lawyer profiles, a professional network, a directory and a downloadable CV
    • A community feed and topic communities
    • A coin wallet and a document marketplace
    • Levels, badges and a leaderboard, private unless you choose to share them
    • Onboarding with a checklist and short guided tours
    • Full support for French, Arabic (right to left) and English

    Security of version 1.0.0

    • Identity documents and chat attachments are stored privately and shared only with the people entitled to see them

How we number releases

We follow Semantic Versioning. Every release gets a version of the form MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, and the number is decided by the biggest thing the release contains.

Major2.0.0
Something you must act on, or something that is gone.
Minor1.8.0
There is more, or something works differently. Nothing you rely on stops working.
Patch1.7.1
Something was wrong and now is not. No new behaviour.

Releases up to 1.6.0 were numbered after the fact, from our deployment history, when this page was introduced. Every release since is numbered on the day it goes live.
